The funds raised support vulnerable children across Ireland who are living with the impact of serious illness, poverty, abuse, neglect or bereavement. Every donation to The Magic of Christmas appeal helps create magic moments for those who need it most – bringing hope, care and support to children and families when they need it.

2026 marks our 19th year of broadcasting, and in this time we have raised over €4.3 million for a range of charities. By continuing The Magic of Christmas appeal, we aim to build on this fundraising success and continue raising awareness of our charity partners’ vital work.

Paul Shepherd, Co-Founder of Christmas FM, said: “Christmas FM has always been about bringing people together and celebrating the incredible spirit of generosity that exists in communities across Ireland. Our generous listeners have helped us raise €4.3 million for charity since we first took to the airwaves in 2008, and between 2025 and 2027, our aim is to raise a further €1 million for Barnardos, Barretstown, Make-A-Wish Ireland and children’s charities across Ireland.
