About Christmas FM:
We are Ireland’s Christmas Station! Christmas FM is a temporary FM radio station that broadcasts across Ireland for 30 days each Christmas and streams online all year round. We’re powered by commercial sponsorships and activities, and we’re proud to use our platform to raise vital funds for charity.
In 2025, we’re celebrating 18 years on air. Since 2008, our listeners have helped us raise over €4 million for charities including ISPCC, Barnardos, Dublin Simon Community, Age Action, Aware, Make-A-Wish Ireland, Focus Ireland, Sightsavers, Temple Street Hospital, Barretstown, ALONE – and now a host of children’s charities through the Magic of Christmas Appeal.
The Role:
We’re looking for an organised and detail-orientated content creation assistant to join our team from November. You’ll support the Social Media Manager in keeping our channels running creative and engaging content – from content capturing and editing to copywriting and engaging creativity with our audience.
This role is perfect for someone who is creative, confident with social media tools such as Canva and CapCut and enjoys creating engaging and fun content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop, ideate and create relevant, fun and engaging content for key audiences based on individual platforms.
- Keep up with Christmas-related trends and react across TikTok, X, YouTube, BlueSky, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Manage and update content calendars.
- Support social channels with reactive comments and engagement with the community.
- Ensure posts are accurate, timely, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Capture content on filming days and edit to make quality content.
About You
- Good understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Strong capturing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Highly organised with experience in content creation and trends.
- Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Buffer and Canva.
- Ability to work remotely AND attend various on-site days such as OBs (Outside Broadcasts and studio days).
Additional requirement: You must be able to travel to our Dublin 22 studios and to other locations for outdoor broadcasts, vox pops, and related activities.
