About Me:

I have been known to listen to Christmas music in the middle of the summer! My weaknesses are a good gin and tonic, and coffee – just not at the same time. My background is in radio news and I have read news for Midlands Radio 3, 2FM, East Coast FM & Spirit Radio in Ireland and JACK FM and FM107.9 in Oxford. I’m a studio co-ordinator for a multi media company called Ballywire Media Ltd and organise video shots for our various clients. I’m a rugby fan and have season ticket for Leinster Rugby but also keep a keen eye on London Irish who play in Reading in the UK.

Why Christmas FM:

I started volunteering for Christmas FM in 2010 and now couldn’t imagine a December without it. I’ve grown to love all the Christmas Classics – in my first year, I couldn’t believe how many Christmas songs there actually were! I started volunteering for Christmas FM in a bid to meet more radio people and I have met such wonderful people in my years of volunteering for the station.

Die Hard, no matter what Bruce Willis says, it’s a Christmas movie.

Every Dec 25th, I love to sit down with a stuffing sandwich and a pot of coffee, you can’t beat it.

Where I’m From:

I’m from Dublin 15 and play tag rugby with the Ragtaggers.
