The Royal Family fight over Monopoly just like everybody else! Who knew?
Prince William was in a revelatory mood when he shared his Christmas traditions and pastimes with royal fans recently.
Speaking on Radio Marsden, a charity radio run by volunteers that broadcasts to cancer patients at the Royal Marsden Hospitals in London, the Duke of Cambridge took questions from young patients who were keen to know how he, Kate and their three children George (8), Charlotte (6) and Louis (3), spend the holidays.
When asked about board games, William divulged that his children were fond of the classics Risk and Monopoly.
However, he added that things can get rowdy as some members of the Cambridge household are very competitive and get quite ‘cross’ when they lose!
Another young patient asked Prince William what his dream Christmas present would be and the royal said that he would love to see his favourite soccer team, Aston Villa, win their match on St Stephen’s Day!
On a more sincere note, the dad of three said that Christmas had changed so much after he had children and he loved being able to get together with his cousins over the holidays and watching all the kids playing together.
Oh and if you’re wondering if he has a favourite Christmas song, he does. It’s José Feliciano’s Feliz Navidad, although he’s also partial to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You.
And when it comes to movies, Will loves nothing more than watching another Will (Ferrell) don his yellow tights in the holiday favourite, Elf!
