Rob G

About Me:

I’m Rob, a forty-something man-child. Radio has been my dream ever since I was a young teen and I’m very lucky to have the job I love. I’ve been a radio presenter in Ireland over 25 years now, and have worked in many stations over those years, most notably FM104 in Dublin and East Coast FM in Wicklow where I’ve been presenting the breakfast show for nearly 18 years. I’m a husband, Dad of three wonderful children, huge Liverpool fan and music enthusiast.

When I’m not on air I’m most likely watching the footie, out with the family, trying to grab a snooze or gaming online in the evening with my buddies, like I said, man-child!

I became part of the Christmas FM team in 2024, a station I long admired and wanted to be a part of. It has become over its years on air a part of Ireland’s Christmas tradition, up there with the Late Late Toy Show. It’s not Christmas in my house until Christmas FM goes LIVE.  To be a part of something so wonderful is a privilege and the fact that my kids get to hear their Dad on their favourite station fills my heart with joy! I’d love for you to join me from Midday each Sunday to share in the magic of Christmas.
