You Won’t Believe What These U.S. Troopers Did To Save Christmas

We’re well used to it as an annual threat, but it’s been confirmed that the Grinch won’t be stealing Christmas this year after 12 state troopers in the U.S detained the character.

The Huffington Post reports that an arrest took place at a toy drive in Georgia last Friday morning, with a photographic of the Grinch being handcuffed proffered as evidence.

“For anyone wondering”, the troopers said, “rest assured that all laws will still be enforced while your Georgia State Troopers are collecting for Toys for Tots.

But the Georgian troopers weren’t the only ones to get in on the act, with Bourne police department in Massachusetts also pulling a similar festive stunt, issuing an official wanted notice for the capture of an Elf on the Shelf.

Publicity stunts or not, we’re happy as long as Christmas is safe!
