We love supporting the home grown and TV soap Fair City has an avalanche of drama for you this Christmas.
The soap began thirty four years ago with a shot of a newspaper boy cycling around a housing estate dropping off his papers in the fictional Carrigstown on Dublin’s North side and thirty four years later the soap is still riding high.
There have been many dramas over the years, in 2022 the heartbreak of Anto Collins’ gambling addiction was a real roller coaster and Damien and Mairead’s struggle to manage sugar daddy turned property developer James Rafferty had us hooked.
Now we want to know is there gonna be a Christmas reconciliation between Anto and Sharon? Or will Rafferty and Sharon get together – is there a frisson in the air there? Dearbhla and Tommy give Joan some advice about Gar but does she heed it? Louis nicks a gift from the grotto, which sparks off all sorts of trouble, and it’s baby Noah’s first Christmas. Ahhh!
Nice to have the family drama on the box rather than in your actual sitting room for a change. So get yourself a cuppa and some of those nice choccies from under the tree and enjoy.
